“Wolverine is gay.
I learned the hard way.
He has a spiky toupée
Wolverine is gay.”
Picked this up about 15years ago. It’s from an old Classic X-men issue 36 drawn by John Bolton. Vintage.
X-Men Anime. Coming Soon.
Personally, I’ve not been a fan of Marvel’s previous jaunts into animated features just because they turn out to be fucking stupid fests. However, these new anime projects they’ve commissioned from Madhouse Studios have garnered my attentions. I’ve always enjoyed Japanese anime more than western efforts, if only because anime lends it’s self beautifully to comic book style action.
I’m hopeful, and this first look tease at the X-men franchise could be promising. The other titles being developed for anime are Blade, Wolverine and Iron Man and all are said to be under the watchful gaze of Warren Ellis.
“The X-Men are reunited following the death of a teammate, and are summoned by Charles Xavier to Japan following the abduction of Hisako Ichiki (Armor). There, they confront the U-Men, a lunatic cult that steals and transplants mutant organs to further strengthen their own army, and the battle for justice is on”.
Back when Wolverine: Origins came out, French Connection released these awesome tees. I picked up quite a few as they are just so much more stylish then your standard comic T shirt. They had some wicked Batman apparel back when The Dark Knight movie came out as well. Naturally, I purchased quite a few back then as well. Well, it would have been rude not too.
The man has a point.
He’s the best at what does, and what he does is iWolverine.
One young Australian fan didn’t have any bristol board or a sketchbook to call his own, so he asked Jim for a sketch on the one thing he did have - an iPod.
